I am delighted that following months of hard work on this, with many meetings and conversations with both the Secretary of State and Alstom, there has been significant progress made on Alstom's production gap.

I held a meeting this week with Police and Crime Commissioner Angelique Foster for retail staff and businesses based in Derby to discuss the shoplifting and anti-social behaviour.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Littleover resident Mitch in Parliament at Immunodeficiency UK’s reception highlighting the importance of plasma blood donations.

I know just how important our train manufacturing industry and the jobs it provides to our city is, and do not want to see any redundancies at Litchurch Lane.

This week I spoke to Rolls-Royce about their announcement that as part of their multi-year transformation programme between 2000 and 2500 jobs will be at risk of redundancy across their global operations.
