Surgery at Citizens Advice Bureau

I recently held one of my weekly surgeries in conjunction with Derby’s Citizens Advice Bureau at their premises on Green lane in the city centre.

I would like to give my thanks to Paul and the team at the CAB for facilitating. Despite the removal of funding from Derby City Council, the CAB still provides a valuable advocacy service for Derby Residents, albeit on a reduced level. My hope is that by holding my advice surgery at the CAB’s offices, it will not only give Derby North Residents the opportunity to speak to me and CAB advisers regarding any issues they have but it will also highlight the invaluable services the CAB continues to provide and illustrate they are still open for business.

The surgery ran from 9am to 11am and was well attended by Derby North residents.

Derby Citizens Advice Director, Paul Naylor said:
“We are delighted to have had Amanda hold her surgery here, which she is always welcome to do and I very much hope we continue to work together in the future. It is very important to reiterate that the CAB is still open and is still very much here for Derby residents to use”
