Save Derby County Football Club

I am delighted to see that the deal for Clowes Development to acquire the club has been completed. It has been an incredibly tough journey but I would like to thank all that were involved in getting the deal over the line as well as the fans for their continued patience. 

I am delighted to hear that Clowes Development has been announced the preferred bidder for Derby County. 

I will be monitoring developments during the exclusivity period very closely as the administrators and the EFL work to secure a deal.

I am incredibly pleased to hear that Clowes Developments LTD has acquired the Pride Park stadium and is expected to submit a formal bid for the club today. 

It is incredibly disappointing for us all to hear that Chris Kirchner has withdrawn his bid to buy Derby County. I am however confident that there are still interested parties and that the administrators are engaging with them.

After months of meeting with members of TeamDerby, Chris Kirchner was named as the preferred bidder by Quantuma. The American businessman, is a brilliant candidate to take this great club forward, and we were lucky enough to catch up him on our latest episode of Derby North Talks!

This week a meeting was held between myself, Team Derby and Quantuma, this was held to obtain an update regarding a preferred bidder. 

I am aware that the deadline for Derby County negotiations has been extended however I am still pushing for relevant meetings to ensure that progress is made. 

Last week we received the brilliant news that a resolution had been reached over the Middlesbrough claim. 

Our next step is to allow the administrators to handle the offers that have come in to buy the club and to move forward with a preferred bidder.

Today I took joined the march for Derby County. C'mon you Rams.
