My 'Save the 32' Bus campaign was successful in protecting a vital link for many of my constituents to get in to the city from the area they lived. I know for so many of my constituents buses are a crucial method of transport and I will continue to fight to ensure important routes are sustained.
My 'Save the School Crossing Patrol' campaign received over 1000 signatures that have since been submitted to the council ot highlight the vital service they provide for protecting children and parents making their way too and from schools at the beginning and end of the school day. I hope the council will reconsider their proposed plans to scrap school crossing patrols and that our children will remain safe and protected when travelling to schools during what are the busiest times of our days.
